Student Television Network
STN supports, promotes, and recognizes excellence in scholastic broadcasting, creative video and filmmaking, and media convergence.
Student Television Network embraces the educational components of broadcast journalism, video production, filmmaking and media convergence by networking students and teachers with professionals in the industry. Middle School and High School students are given varied opportunities for training, interaction, competition and critiques from qualified experts.

SkillsUSA is a national organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in technical, skilled and service occupations, including health occupations. SkillsUSA was formerly known as VICA (the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America).
Florida Scholastic Press Association
Founded in 1946, the Florida Scholastic Press Association is comprised of more than 300 student publications, online media teams and broadcast programs throughout the state. The primary aim of this organization is to educate, train and support scholastic journalists and their advisers.
Florida Association for Media in Education
The FAME Jim Harbin Student Media Festival is in honor of Jim Harbin, a former consultant with the Florida Department of Education, who originated the idea of a statewide student media festival to recognize the excellent work being done across the state of Florida by student media producers. FAME sponsors the Jim Harbin Student Media Festival to encourage students of FAME members to communicate through media production and to recognize and reward outstanding presentations. These talented student producers are honored for their outstanding media productions at an awards ceremony at the FAME Annual Conference.
Student Art Festival
Student Art Festival (STARTFEST) is a nonprofit film festival helping educate, exhibit and recognize the achievements of aspiring high school and college students. The first STARTFEST is the ONLY film festival where students compete against their peers and receive valuable, constructive feedback on their work from leading industry professionals.
Suncoast Student Television Awards of Excellence
The Suncoast Student Television Award encourages the pursuit of excellence in video production and focuses public attention on outstanding achievements produced by college, university and high school students.
Character Key Video Contest
Leadership Seminole sponsors a video contest designed to energize the creativity of Seminole County high school students with a focus on character and issues facing youth today.

The Polk County Video Awards have been an annual event in Polk County since the 1992-1993 school year (a time when videotape was more prevalent, hence the title of "Video Awards") and recognize student work in broadcast and film production. You can watch winning videos from Polk County elementary, middle, and high school TV programs from over the last 3 years.
